Janice Cape Mayuk
Born and raised in Chatham, with an eight-year stint in Winnipeg, Janice now calls Blenheim home.
At the age of 10 she received her first camera and has never stopped taking photographs. When she's not running around Chatham-Kent squeezing as much drama out of the local landscape, she's rifling through her cupboards looking for the perfect vessel for her flower images. With a mixed bag of influences including Impressionism, Dutch floral still life of the 1600's and the creepy imagery of art director Tim Burton, she is currently exploring Intentional Camera Movement.
