Jana Smith
Jana Smith is a resident of Chatham, Ontario, where she and her husband have lived for the past nine years in the house her father built.
With a BSc and a Master degree, her working life focused on science and medical research. Retirement, however, has given Jana a new opportunity. The gift of time. Time to embark on something new. Time for photography. As an avid, amateur photographer, photography has been a hobby for her since she received her first camera in university. With the leap to digital photography, the world of possibilities exploded. Now, Jana and her husband go on frequent drives to explore Southwestern Ontario. They also enjoy travelling nationally and internationally, when opportunities present themselves. Her camera is always at hand, snapping pictures of whatever catches her eye. Her imagination is stirred by God’s creation around her, and her attempts at capturing that beauty. Outside of photography, Jana is an author, having five published books, and a sixth on the way.
