Art has been an important part of Vicky's life for as long as she can remember.
Until Vicky retired a few years ago, she had little time to devote to my art. She taught secondary school mathematics for thirty-one years, raised two terrific children, Jeffrey and Jeanette with her husband Dale, and now she finally has time to paint. Vicky's sister-in-law, Betty got her started with watercolour when she convinced Vicky to take a painting class in North Bay one summer. The instructor, Arlie Hoffman has been a wonderful source of encouragement and inspiration.
Vicky has also taken classes from Julia Conlon, Constance Noyle, and Linda Kemp. As a beginner in the field of watercolour she is enjoying the wonderful unexpected results of using this media.
