Being drawn to art was evident very early in my life. I remember drawing at the kitchen table even before starting to attend elementary school. The Hamilton Public Library provided many books for me to study the great masters. My first art course was not until my last year in high school at Cathedral Girls.

After my own two sons started school, I studied life drawing, pen and ink and watercolor at Dundas Valley School of Art. At the same time, I also received my certification at Mohawk College as a Home Furnishing Consultant.

After over 25 years of interior decorating, I now live in Simcoe, Ontario where I operate St John’s Bed and Breakfast (est 2006) with my husband Steve Woloszyn.

It is through the local Artists Workshop and its members that I now study and find inspiration. I am presently enjoying working with oils and watercolors. I look forward to a future that allows me to pursue my interests, improve my skills and feed my passion for the arts.

S’oil studio is home to s’oil paintings, water-called paintings and pen-souled drawings. “I believe my art contains soul so my hope is that it can touch another life”
