Cindy’s passion for sewing and teaching can be traced back to her childhood where she sewed most of her clothes and encouraged classmates in elementary home economics classes. Her sewing knowledge and appreciation for textiles broadened while employed in a local upscale, fabric store. Wearing a handmade three-tiered ruffled dress for the interview landed her the position at 16 years of age. While her children were young, she taught sewing lessons to children and adults and enjoyed sharing the love of her craft in her home-based studio. After teaching for the elementary panel, she decided to reopen her business to offer lessons, alterations and provide customers with an opportunity to purchase one of a kind items from accessories, to bags, quilts and wallets. When she’s not creating with fabric and thread, she’s cooking new recipes, gardening, teaching a women’s scripture class or enjoying time with her supportive husband, children and grandchildren.
